ICE Communications was incorporated in June of 1992 by
Marion A. (Andy) Potter. Andy started this business after
retiring from then Southwestern Bell Telephone. Andy
spent 26 years working for SWBT and held various
positions. These include Installer, Telegraph
Repeaterman, Cable Repairman, Chief Testboardman,
Installation Foreman, PBX Installation Foreman, Outside
Plant Engineer, and BDS-LAN Engineer. ICE
Communications is a family owned business. The owners
are Marion A.(Andy), Mildred D.(Milly) and Anthony
A.(Tony) Potter. Andy and Tony hold the designation of
RCDD through BICSI.
The main focus of the company is the design and
installation of telecommunications networks, both copper
and fiber. We do turn key projects, placement, termination
and certification of structured cabling, consulting, design
services, small key system installation and project
management services. We can also provide add, move
and change services for your company.
Our list of clients includes U.S. District Court in Topeka,
KS, Payless ShoeSource World Headquarters, City Of
Leawood, KS, U.S. District Court in Kansas City, KS,
Shawnee Mission School District, and numerous projects
